Moderation and Verification Policy

KalaTalkies ensures that all content on our platform aligns with community standards and safety guidelines. Every upload undergoes a combination of automated and manual moderation.

1. Automated Moderation

We use AWS Rekognition to automatically scan uploaded videos for:

• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Violence or graphic harm
• Hateful symbols or unsafe content

Videos flagged by Rekognition will be held for further review before they can go live.

2. Manual Review Process

Our moderation team reviews flagged content within 24–48 hours. A video may be:

• Approved – Safe and published to the platform
• Rejected – Violates our content policies
• Under Review – Pending further clarification or creator verification

3. Moderation Status Tags

• Pending – Awaiting automated moderation
• In Review – Queued for manual check
• Approved – Safe and visible to viewers
• Rejected – Blocked due to violation
• Manual Review – Escalated for human review

4. Enforcement

Repeated violations of our policies may result in:

• Temporary upload suspension
• Account deactivation
• Legal notification in severe cases

5. Appeals

If you feel a moderation decision was incorrect, email us at shreedhar@kalatalkies.com with your username, content title, and reason for appeal.
